Monastery's shop & ticket office
In the bottom skirt of the Vyssi Brod monastic complex there is the renovated Visitors center (yellow front). In its middle in the ground floor you can find monastery‘s shop and ticket office. Besides the information about the tours of the monastery and purchase tickets for it you will find here too:
- books about the monasticism and about catholicism
- outlets and newspapers from other monasteries or near touristic points of interest
- booklets about the Vyssi Brod abbey in CZ, DEU, ENG, FR a NL language versions
- - postcards, posters and accordion folds depicting all the points of interest both inside and outside the monastery. Pay attention to that, because thre is no using cameras in the monastery allowed!
- CDs containing spiritual music (gregorian chant etc.)
- souvenir candles
- products from monasteries: BIOmustard, honey, various liqueurs, crispies, coffee substitute or icons.
devotional articles: rosaries, pendants, small crosses
- wide range of holy images: Holy Father, various saints (also St. Bernard and St.Benedikt), Madonna of Vyssi Brod, guardian angels etc.
The shop is open in the season May – September always from 9:30 do 17:00 except on Mondays. Postal stamps as well as the mail are available next to this shop in the hallway of the Post museum run by the Czech Post Company.
